The Wholeworks was established in 1992 and is situated in the heart of Edinburgh's historic Old Town, just off the Royal Mile. Waverley train station is only five minutes walk away. Car parking is possible in Cockburn Street directly outside the building, but spaces are more easily obtainable in Market Street or Jeffery Street and there is also a multi-storey car park down the road in Niddrie Street.

The Salisbury Centre is situated about a mile south of the city centre, on Salisbury Road, which is off Dalkeith Road and close to the Royal Commonwealth Pool. Lothian buses from the city centre run to either end of Salisbury Road. These are numbers: 3, 5, 7, 8, 14, 29, 30, 31, 37 and 49 and First Bus 86. For those travelling by car there is meter parking on Salisbury Road.

Founded in 1973 the Salisbury Centre occupies a large Georgian house and is the longest established holistic centre in Edinburgh. One very special feature is the beautiful walled organic garden, named after Winifred Rushworth, an enthusiastic gardener and major driving force behind the creation of the Salisbury Centre. Visitors and clients are welcome to experience this quiet haven at any time between 10-00am to 7-00pm.
